There is a growing interest in the consumption of homegrown grains and legumes. Grains are an important basis of our diet and legumes are receiving increasing attention as a source of protein. We kick off the evening with an interactive conversation with Lucas Van den Abeele of Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen and arable farmer Simon Colembie who produces for La vie est belle. Both have experience in setting up regional partnerships around quality raw materials and finished products.
