GENERATION FOOD IN TANZANIA

SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER 2020

In Arusha, 70 young people took part in a two-week Bootcamp to make their food system more sustainable. The main aim was to provide the young entrepreneurs with the means to realize their innovative ideas. The bootcamp consisted of interactive workshops with guidance as well as visiting successful entrepreneurs who already had an impact on the food system in Arusha.

During the two weeks there were testimonials from inspiring speakers and stakeholders. They talked about their experiences, insights and what it takes to start a successful business. The young people were given the opportunity to ask as many questions as possible. The young people also took advantage of this: how do you get access to resources to start your business? How can you start as a food processor? How can you make your company more sustainable? So many questions and so little time...

Below you will find photos of the event.
