HOW WE WORK

 

Step 1: introduction and discussion of the innovation trajectory.

 

Step 2: implementation of the innovation trajectory.
 

1st meeting with (group) employees and other stakeholders: we provide inspiration, explain the process and start brainstorming about what we can do.
 

2nd meeting with (group) employees and other stakeholders: three priorities are chosen to focus on, objectives are set and the plan of action is drawn up.


Step 3: Discussion with tractors, next steps are discussed.

2.A Durable  Catering business

TARGET

 

Catering companies that want to make their business more sustainable through no  food-waste innovation, short chain and healthier menus.

OFFER

Tailored to the catering company, we look at which different areas  make the offer and the general operation of the company more sustainable. And this with a strong focus on economic added value. We do this by e.g.:

  • Organizing and documenting (internal) hackathons, dinner hacks and/or workshops

  • Setting up participatory brainstorming sessions with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Establish partnerships with urban agriculture and local initiatives.

  • Process guidance and writing of  recommendations.

  • We always work towards different possible outcomes, such as:

    • No waste menus for chains and restaurants,

    • Virtual sustainable restaurants or pop-ups,

    • Foreign food concepts fully adapted to the Belgian market

    • New circular and sustainable food concepts/chain

    • Healthy  and sustainable  fast food

    • Flemish / Belgian classics in a healthy jacket

HOW WE WORK

Step 1: General introduction + analysis of the problem statement  through interviews.


Step 2: Proposal innovation trajectory + discuss action plan


Step 3: Implementation via funnel principle:  

A.  Inspiration moment and discuss objective  with all involved + limited number of employees and external parties. Start of hackathon or brainstorming sessions. Max 30p.
 

B. Elaboration of 3 possible routes/concepts in depth by those involved into fully-fledged solutions. Max 10p.

C. Proposal internally to employees = creating support. Final  implement the chosen track/concept or start a test phase.

 

Step 4: Discussion with those involved and extend the process if necessary. Ability to implement solution on a large scale.
